Afterwork "Voies de docteur.e.s" December 1: replay available

For the first "Voies de docteur.e.s" afterwork of the academic year of 2022-2023, we offered you to join us on December 1st for one and a half hour discussion on international mobility. It was also the first "Voies de docteur.e.s" afterwork in English in order to open this event to a non-French speaking public.

To address this topic, Candice Chaillou, in charge of the promotion of the PhD degree at UBFC, and Nourhane Bouznif, UBFC Alumni project manager, were pleased to welcome two employees of the Euraxess network: Lisa Osorio Pulido (University of Franche-Comté) and Anne-Clémence Voisin (University of Bourgogne). Within these two universities, Lisa and Anne-Clémence assist foreign researchers and their families in all kinds of administrative procedures to help them settle and become integrated.

Anne-Clémence and Lisa invited two foreign researchers and their partners to share their experience with the audience:

- Victor do Valle Pretti, Brazilian postdoc at the Institut de Mathématiques de Bourgogne (IMB), Luana's partner
- Luana Queiroz, Brazilian architect, Victor's partner

- Sebastian Ponciano Ojeda, Mexican postdoc at the FEMTO-ST Institute, Lina's husband
- Lina Hoyos Campo, Colombian postdoc, Sebastian's spouse 

They shared with the audience their academic career, why they chose to settle in France, the difficulties they have been through, how the Euraxess center has helped them...
